About Us

University of Maryland Shore Regional Health provides a broad range of comprehensive rehabilitation, pain management and health enhancement services. In diverse locations throughout the five-county region, our outpatient rehabilitation services are provided by an exceptional team led by a board-certified rehabilitation physician assisted by specialists with expertise in many fields, including: rehabilitation medicine and nursing; neurology; orthopedics; pain management; physical, occupational and speech therapy; and complementary therapies such as acupuncture, massage therapy, meditation, Reiki and psychotherapy.

Stephen Wills, MD, is the medical director of UM Shore Regional Health’s Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services and its Requard Center for Acute Rehabilitation. Dr. Wills, a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, completed a residency at the National Rehabilitation Center and is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Outpatient Rehabilitation Services

UM Shore Regional Health’s Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services programs are provided in Easton, Cambridge, Denton and Queenstown locations. These outpatient programs include six specialty rehab centers:  The Balance Center, the Pain Management Center, the Swallowing Center, the Center for Integrative Medicine and our partnership with The Orthopedic Center, which includes the Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. 

We hold advanced training and professional development in high regard, and take great pride in our many specialty certified physicians, nurses and therapists. Overall, our services are accredited by the Joint Commission.  Our nurses are Magnet recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). We aspire to best practice and participate with both inpatient and outpatient national outcomes measuring organizations in clinical care and patient satisfaction.
