The Cancer Center at UM Shore Regional Health has partnerships with a network of community partners including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Cancer Care, the American Cancer Society, the Chesapeake Multiple Myeloma Network (CMMN) and other organizations to offer classes, support groups and other resources for cancer patients and their caregivers. These resources specifically help cancer patients and their families to overcome various obstacles and lessen the financial, legal and emotional burdens of cancer. Services include counseling, advocacy, assistance with financial needs, in-home assistance and medical equipment and supplies.
Look Good Feel Better
Look Good...Feel Better is a program offered by the National Cosmetology Association and the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association in conjunction with the American Cancer Society. The program teaches patients beauty techniques that help them cope with hair loss and skin changes during cancer treatment.

Pat Shortall Wig Room
The Pat Shortall Wig Room provides hats and other accessories to patients undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation. Wigs are available and are free of charge. To schedule an appointment, call 410-820-6800, ext. 5362.
Road to Recovery
Road to Recovery is an American Cancer Society program that provides volunteer drivers who offer cancer patients free transportation to scheduled medical appointments.
